Rays DVD Series - Vol 4 & 5
Volume 4 & 5 Box Set
DVD VOLUME 4 - Flight Theory,Engine Break-In,and Tools
This disk starts with basic flight theory. It shows how collective pitch, cyclic pitch, and the tail rotor control the helicopter's flight. As the theory progesses to more advanced information, it shows the difference between driven and non-driven tail rotors and how they interact with the gyro in the autorotation phase of flight.
Theory finishes up with a description of carburetion without compromise, which allows you to obtain perfect mixture no matter if the engine is cold or hot ! This concept is demonstrated during the engine break-in section,so you can see exactly what this carburetor modification can do for your helicopter. Finally,it looks at the tools needed to build a helicopter. After viewing this disk, you will understand all the basic flight theory, have the tools needed to build the helicopter, and have an engine that's been broken-in on the bench and ready to bolt into your helicopter.

DVD VOLUME 5: - Building the Helicopter
With an emphasis on tender loving care, this disk starts with a helicopter "in the box" and shows you what to look for as you build your machine. You'll learn how to perfectly fit all the ball links, pivot arms and bellcranks in your helicopter and understand why these steps are so crucial to the way your machine will fly ! During the building process, you'll see all the major sub-assemblies of the helicopter being put together with particular attention given to the rotor head. After viewing this disk (and ending up with a perfectly built machine), you'll be ready for Radio Theory, Bench Set-Up and Flight Trimming as shown in Volumes 1-3 of Ray's Authoritative DVD Series.
